Question for everyone: What would you do if you couldn’t work with AI?

I was thinking the other day — working with AI now almost feels like riding a bike. Once you’ve got it, it’s hard to imagine life without it.

Honestly, I can barely remember what work felt like before AI. The thought of not having it feels like I’d have to completely rethink how I work… and I’d probably be much, much slower.

Curious — how would your day-to-day change if AI tools disappeared tomorrow?

I don’t think I would be able to.

My sister works for a company that does not allow her to use AI. I was speaking to her the other today. I think there is no chance I would be able to work for that company or any like it.

AI is now so engrained in what I do.

Have a existential crisis as I now unable to write

In all honest I don’t think it would be too much of a problem, just don’t take away spell check. I would definitely be slower through.

I intuitively use AI now. I even have Chat GPT and Gemini bookmarked.

It would be funny to see everyone suddenly start panicking.

Before I answer my question would be what type of AI. It is all machine learning or just generative AI?

I’ve been using AI pretty much my whole professional life. So I think I would have no idea what to do… :exploding_head: Would have to ask one of my older colleagues

Good question Jack. We would be a lot more trouble if machine learning and other AI method went down as well

I was just talking about generative AI and mainly LLMs such as Chat GPT, Gemini and Claude.

What would you do?
