How do you know when Brim is doing the work?

I’m using Brim to help generate and check outputs for me, and most of the time the results look right. But sometimes I find myself wondering whether it actually ran the steps I asked for, or if it just produced a good-looking answer.

For example, when I ask it to verify something or work through a process, how do I know it’s genuinely doing that work behind the scenes rather than skipping steps?

Curious how others think about this, or what signals you look for to know Brim is really doing what you asked.

Great question. There are a couple of ways you can tell Brim is doing work for you.

One is through notifications in the AI inbox, where you’ll see updates on the tasks it’s running and what it’s doing in the background.

But from your comment, it sounds like you might have something else in mind. Maybe more visibility into the process itself, like a progress bar or being able to see what it’s doing step by step, almost like a shared screen.

It would be great to chat and understand what you had in mind there. I’ve sent you a DM to see if we can arrange a time to talk it through.
